GladFest Poetry Open Mike

Hi all

I'm writing to invite you to a FREE event, a Poetry Open Mike at Gladstone's Library as part of their inaugural GladFest, on Saturday September 7, 2013 from 8 pm.

I am going to compere this evening's session and we would like to hear writers reading their work at any stage in their writing career, particularly from North Wales, Cheshire and Merseyside. Anything goes! We want your voice- or- the voice of a character who is inhabiting your poem; who really wants to share something with us all...

Please circulate this message to anyone who would like to read/listen and perhaps may be visiting the Library for the first time-- a lovely chance to know more about this amazing place of thinking and writing. Drinks served in the Reading room from 7.30 pm.
